There is no doubt that I love this choir. I even made it back in 1989, but there were no openings in my voice range (I was an alto 1) so I had to wait. Then, in June 1991, my younger son died and I moved back home to Florida, so I never got to sing with them. But they still consider me a member, which I am humbly grateful for. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this 30 minutes of Christmas joy as much as I did (and will!)

Sit back, relax! Today I’m sharing 30 minutes of pure Christmas joy! This is the Mormon Tabernacle Choir’s Christmas TV/Radio Sunday broadcast aired Dec. 14, 2008. The program was filmed on the last day of Christmas Concert week in Salt Lake City, with guest artists Brian Stokes Mitchell (Broadway star) and Edward Herrmann (veteran star of stage & screen). This performance is extra special to me because it was my very first Christmas season as a member of the Choir, and it will always hold a very sweet spot in my heart. There are no words to express how much I love “Stokes” and “Ed”. These two talented men are remarkable both on and off the stage. They have the gift of delighting everyone they meet, and I loved performing with them!
My hope is that today when you watch this video you will accept a gift of 30 minutes of peace; just sitting back, relaxing, feeling the beauty and joy of the Christmas spirit wash…
