In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Depth.”
One has to dig deep in the earth to harvest a good garden. Florida has two growing seasons. We are starting ours in the spring. May we have a good bounty.
So it is with joy. It must be cultivated, brought up from deep within the soul to be there regardless of the external circumstances. It will be your guiding star, your compass, but only through the light of Christ. He is the way. I have survived the deaths of both my boys, and I live in joy, but only through the mercy of Jesus Christ. Take a chance on Him. He can heal your heart.
A Pocketful of Joy to Fill Your Day
He can and will.

A lovely thought to ponder! Everything is a “type of Christ” and I’ve always loved the many symbols in gardening.
