Healthy vegan dinner! I cooked oil-free hash browns in my waffle iron, made a delicious tossed salad, and had watermelon juice from Trader Joe’s.

I feel lighter already! Lol! But seriously, I love eating this way. My brain works better, my body moves better, my spirit feels better. Not to mention how it turned my health around.

Now I just have to recover from the blown out knee and broken wrist I acquired during my trip to Denver.

What is something healthy you’re eating for dinner?

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised

A Pocketful of Joy to Fill Your Day

As many of you know, I took a week or two off, due to the untimely death of our baby granddaughter. She was only 21 days old. It was the saddest funeral I’ve ever attended.

We drove out to Denver from Florida and it was a long trip. To help me with my anxiety, I found lavender oil to be calming. And the trip left my muscles very sore. For that, I used Deep Blue. This oil amazes me. I really sware by it for tight, achy muscles.

Little Shelby was put to rest a week ago. I was honored to be asked to sing Amazing Grace at the graveside. My heart breaks for her parents! She was beautiful! And she will be missed for the rest of our lives.

It’s important to talk about these things, to maintain mental health. If you have someone in your life who is facing this kind of trauma, the best thing you can do for them is to listen.

Sometimes, one can’t offer joy, only comfort.

A new commandment I give unto you,  That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

John 13:34-35
