Yesterday was Mother’s Day. It was also my birthday. But I got a huge surprise on Friday.
My daughter-in-law (hubby’s oldest son) sent this to me. Since my boys died, I never thought I would be a grandmother. But since I’ve known them, Terry and Sarah have always included me in the family. It has really brought joy to my life.
These gifts were hand-picked for me, and the topper is that the music box plays “Wind Beneath My Wings.” I cried in the best way when I got them.
I do love my kids and grandkids, even if I didn’t birth them. This was the best day in 28 years! I’m so grateful! Best memories ever!
