My new favorite store. It’s like a Sprouts, only closer to home. You enter straight into the produce department, which had, among other things, blueberries, buy one, get the second for a penny! No room in our tiny refrigerator, or we’d have bought some.

Here’s some of what we did buy. And the black beans were .99 apiece!

And lunch from our bounty. I used the baby greens and a can of the black beans, along with half a tomato that needed to be used, some brown and wild rice, and the Cholula! Delish!

While going through our storage shed, I came across some old photos. This is of James (middle) and his two uncles, Roberto and Pete, when he went to visit them in Cleveland, Ohio, for Thanksgiving 1993. I’m grateful he had the opportunity to go, and that they got to see what a good young man he turned out to be.

Had lunch with some lady friends. We do it about once a month. I’d have taken a photo if I’d have thought of it. We went to a local Mexican restaurant where I had a veggie bowl (burrito bowl)…vegan, of course.

I’m tired tonight, so dinner is a simple Tofurky sandwich with vine ripe tomatoes, and this garlic cauliflower by Bird’s Eye (steamers) sounded scrumptious.

Simple, healthy, vegan. And I’m almost to 4200 steps. Good day all in all.

We have been sorting through our storage shed in preparation for a possible move, and today we hit paydirt! I found my two most cherished items that I thought were lost!

This camera was used to take every picture of my childhood. My aunt gave it to me over 40 years ago.

The other item is my older son’s French horn mouthpiece. It touched his lips countless times. When I press it to my lips, it’s almost as if I’m getting a kiss from him.

Neither one of these would bring any money at resale, but to me, they’re priceless!

Breakfast is leftovers from last night. Broccoli, veggie burger, and hash browns done in my Cuisinart Griller, complete with Dillon Holmes no-cheese sauce.

Dillon has a YouTube channel titled Well Your World. And through it I purchased his cheese sauce and learned of another channel, Crocs in the Kitchen, where I learned the perfect way to use my Griddler.

I love learning. Especially about this plant based way of eating. I love being healthy again.

What are some of your favorite ways of learning?
