I had a hypoglycemic reaction yesterday for the first time in awhile, and I wasn’t prepared. Once I got stable, hubby went to the store to replenish my supply of quick “sugar” to aid in my recovery. Things like orange juice. I don’t ever do sweets, so we just didn’t have anything in the house that was quick acting. I just ate some berries, and then dinner when it was ready. I layed myself down on the bed until I stabilized.
Hoping that won’t happen today, so starting off with my almost favorite breakfast. Potatoes, broccoli, and a no-oil, no-cheese sauce. (Plant based)
Delicious, filling, healthy. Just hope it’s enough calories to stay with me for awhile. #diabetessucks
