Wellness Wednesday, August 31, 2022.

The year is almost over! Time is speeding up! I apologize for my sporatic posting as of late. With my brother-in-law’s passing and my ongoing health issues, it’s been difficult to keep track.

But I should have some answers tomorrow. I see the surgeon at 8:30 am. I imagine we will be scheduling surgery at that time. All the preliminary work has been done.

Meanwhile, trying to keep my meals less acidic. Here are my breakfast and lunch pics.

Tofu scramble and a banana for breakfast. Lunch was a take on my Spanish tortilla. I added broccoli to the mix. It’s still pretty good. I just wanted some veggies.

I apologize for not posting for a couple of weeks. I had the pictures and everything, but time got away from me. But this is what I ate today.

This was leftovers from last night. Pasta with red sauce and broccoli. An easy one pan meal. Made a delicious breakfast.

Lunch was a rice and quinoa blend to which I added shredded cabbage. A little soy sauce to season. Quite good! Better than I expected.

Dinner was a veggie sub from Subway. But they left off my olives. Oh well. It was still good.

On another note, I have an appointment with a surgeon on the first of September. What’s wrong with me needs surgery. I will keep you posted.

What did your Wednesday look like?

A Pocketful of Joy to Fill Your Day

I wanted to come on and let you know I’m getting settled at my sister’s house. It has taken more out of me than I expected. And now I’m sick with a bug. Not the big C.

Still trying to take care of my mental health. I believe I will have something big to share next week that I am really excited about, if my suspicions are right, and they usually are when it comes to my health. But I have to get the final roundup before I can share.

I am learning a lot about compassion and forgiveness these days. Being kind is more than just buzz words.

So do yourself and your world a favor and be kind. It is extremely healing.

How can you show kindness today?
