Christmas is the most wonderful time of year, when hearts are softer and arms are open with the giving feeling of the season.

Still, there are those who don’t have jobs, or who are going through a divorce, or who live in war-torn countries, or who don’t have clean water to drink or clean air to breathe, those who have no roof over their heads.

I don’t pretend to have all the answers, but I do know that prayer is a powerful force, and when you’ve already done what you can, like feed the hungry, clothe the naked, provide housing, if you can, even if all you can do is to pray, then pray. And know, even in your darkest night…
