I’m taking my walking up to a new level. Just purchased this yesterday. According to my doctors, the best way to build strong bones is the same way one builds muscle. Add weight. And the best weights for your back is a vest. It leaves arms free, which helps with balance, and it also helps with more even weight distribution, which again, helps with balance.

I’ve already used it, and love it! I know it will take time, and I’m not going over my doctor’s 10 pound limit. But I will have strong bones again.

We were out and about this morning, so we stopped at a local deli where I got a plain everything bagel. It hit the spot! But I’d eaten 3/4 of it before I thought to snap a photo.

Lunch was this delicious falafel wrap we picked up at a local health foods store. Perfect selection!

And my steps so far… We’re going back out to Academy Sports where I’m looking for a weighted vest. Doctor recommended for bone strength. I’ll get more steps throughout my day.
