What’s your favorite toppings on pizza?
I’m both gluten and lactose intolerant, so I have to have a good gluten-free crust. Then I would have to say a good sliced tomato (or two, or enough to fill the pie) and then slipped under the broiler, if at home, or when eaten out, which is really the only way to go imho, placed in the pizza oven to cook to perfection, coming out all bubbly and juicy! Yum!
I want to learn more about…
All things herbal. And all things holistic medicine. And permaculture gardens and yoga. And I want to write about all of it. And I still want to finish my college degree.
What are three places you’ve enjoyed visiting?
Bear Lake, a beautiful turquoise lake situated in the border of Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming. Dead Horse Point State Park in Utah, some call it the little Grand Canyon, I call it astoundingly gorgeous. And a place I remember visiting when I was a little girl, Thomas Edison’s winter home in Fort Myers, Florida. I was fascinated with the strange trees and his swimming pool (blue tile) and the light bulbs, some small, many huge, that were still lit, that if they turned them off, they would not come back on again.
Do you prefer eating the frosting of the cake or the cupcake first?
Neither. I really don’t like sweets. I’d much rather eat the veggies and give the dessert to my hubby.
What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
I’m grateful that I got to spend extra time with hubby, even though it’s because we both have the flu. I’m looking forward to getting over the flu! (Hubby went back to work.)
Yay that Hank went back to work. Your quest for health inspires me.

An interesting and amusing post, Betty. At least you got the flu out of the way before Christmas!.

Yes, and hubby’s birthday is right after that, and I think he has only been well two times in the 20 years we’ve been married on his birthday. Poor guy.

Well, your husband has my sympathies. I suppose, though, winter’s the time for colds and flu. But stlill, eighteen times out of twenty is seriously bad luck. I hope you both keep well for the rest of the winter.
